  • Was the CEO and Head of school of a well-known education group in Central China, a senior secondary school teacher, a senior researcher of the School Culture Research Center of Central China Normal University, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hubei Private Education Association, Senior Strategic Advisor of Hubei-Anhui Chamber of Commerce, and the winner of the first National Confucius Medal for Education.
  • Has published his personal monograph “Poems Written in the Classroom”, edited such as “One Hundred Poems for One Hundred Children”, “Achieve the Best Self” and so on, and compiled “Oriental Culture Academy” (Volume 1, Volume 2).

  • Has been teaching for 38 years, of which 25 years focus on IB education. He has worked in IB schools in Guangdong and Jiangsu successively, and served as the Deputy Head and Head of K-12 IB schools for nearly 10 years. He is also one of the first group of IBDP Examiners in China.
  • A research scholar at the President's Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a research scholar on Presidential Leadership at the University College London School of Education.
  • In 2018, he won the China's Most Influential International School Principal, and in 2019, he won the Sina Education International Talent Training Demonstration Award.
  • Under his leadership, students have consistently achieved admission to top universities worldwide, including the UK's G5 universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL, and Edinburgh) and Ivy League institutions like Yale, Stanford, Chicago, Columbia, NYU, and Johns Hopkins.

  • David is an experienced educational leader with over 24 years of service in HMC and GSA schools.
  • He holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Southampton and a PGCE from University College Chichester (UCC). A passionate advocate for outdoor education, he has spearheaded initiatives such as the Borealis Expeditions to Iceland and East Greenland, which have enhanced students’ academic outcomes and helped them secure places at highly competitive universities.
  • David knows China well, having worked as Headmaster and BE Director from 2015 – 2021, when he established Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou as a leading international school and brand. During this same period, he also successfully supported the China Rugby Football Association Olympic ambitions for the 2021 Olympic Games held in Tokyo, Japan.
  • Davids' dedication to community remains central to his work. In addition to the ISA Charity work, he presently serves as a Governor at a leading Preparatory School and sits on two other educational boards in England.
  • Across his leadership roles, his focus on holistic education ensures students excel both in and beyond the classroom.

  • With over 20 years of extensive educational experience in schools in Singapore, China, Dubai and Australia, Chris has a deep understanding of all IB Programmes.
  • MYP/DP workshop leader, Site Visit Team Member, Examiner for DP Music and Theory of Knowledge, and International Schools Accreditor for CIS.
  • Held a number of leadership positions and has extensive experience in student support, parent communication and staff leadership. He also has extensive knowledge of positive psychology and the key elements of pastoral care and wellbeing for students.
  • Seeing himself as a facilitator of learning, he dedicates himself to developing strong relationships of trust, promoting engaged learners whilst catering for a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
Jiechao Ng
Jiechao Ng
Mr. Ng graduated from the University of London with a degree in Accounting and Finance. 
  • In the past 15 years, he has been serving in international schools and has rich teaching management experience. He has served as Director of Student Life, Deputy Principal, Dean of Students, Head of Mathematics Department from his former experiences. 
  • The accounting and mathematics courses he taught has achieved Top in the World for both IGCSE and A Levels. 
  • As an educator and administrator with a passion in Character development, he places strong emphasis on the individual growth of students as he believes that each and every individual has something in them, and it is the duty of educators to help and motivate them in their path to search and achieve it.
