在爱莎生涯规划中心的支持下，崔同学参与了两个极具学术意义的美国夏校项目：一个是被誉为“夏校天花板”的Pioneer Academics先锋学术项目，另一个是全美最佳公立大学之一加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）的环境科学项目。
With the support of the ISA Career Planning Center, Student Cui participated in two highly prestigious summer school programs in the United States: the Pioneer Academics program, known as the “gold standard” of summer schools, and an Environmental Science program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the top public universities in the nation.
在Pioneer研究领域的选择上，我将化学作为自己的第一志愿，并从正己烷异构化中的铂催化过渡态的研究问题出发，开始了一段从构思到成文的计算机有机化学的学术论文著修之旅。
When choosing my research field in the Pioneer program, I prioritized chemistry and embarked on a journey of academic paper writing in computational organic chemistry, starting with a research question on the Platinum-Catalyzed Transition States in the lsomerization of n-Hexane.
我喜欢与有着相同研究方向却来自世界各地的学者进行讨论，而我的教授也时常组织我所在的小组的同学们对相关研究论文进行讨论和思考，我们在共同探讨学术问题的同时，理解彼此的观点，激励彼此的进步。
I enjoy discussing with scholars from around the world who share the same research interests, and my professor often organized group discussions on related research papers. Through these discussions, we not only explored academic issues together but also learned to understand and motivate each other.
我深入学习并掌握了如何用专业软件进行分子能量计算的技能，在前沿科技精确模拟分子结构并预测其性质的帮助下，我得以迅速上手并将其应用于实际研究中。细微的想法，在思维碰撞与动手实践中，构建成具备学术价值的完整论文，这段研究经历，让我得到的不仅是科学视野的拓宽，还有对学术探索的无限热情。
I have deeply learned and mastered the skill of using specialized software for molecular energy calculations. This cutting-edge technology, which accurately simulates molecular structures and predicts their properties, allowed me to quickly grasp and apply this knowledge to real-world research. From a small idea, through brainstorming and hands-on practice, I was able to construct a complete paper of academic value. This valuable research experience not only broadened my scientific perspective but also ignited an endless passion for academic exploration.
在UCLA的环境科学夏校项目的学习中，我选择的研究主题是“土壤中的铅”。先通过查阅文献，深入探讨铅这一有毒重金属对环境的污染问题，以及由此引发的复杂政治和社会议题，深刻体会到科学研究与社会现实的紧密联系；再通过多种土壤检测方法的学习和实践，包括使用高精度光谱仪分析土壤成分，直观感受到了跨学科合作的重要性。每个学科的知识都是互为关联、相辅相成的。
In the UCLA Environmental Science summer program, my chosen research topic was ‘Lead in Soil.’ Through literature review, I explored the environmental pollution caused by lead, a toxic heavy metal, and the complex political and social issues arising from it, gaining a deep understanding of the close connection between scientific research and social reality. Then, by learning and practicing various soil testing methods, including using high-precision spectrometers to analyze soil composition, I gained an intuitive sense of the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge from each discipline is interconnected and complementary.
既要读万卷书，也要行万里路，这两段宝贵的夏校经历都丰富了我的学术视野，让我更好地学会如何在实践中发现问题、分析问题，并思考问题的解决。
To read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles—these two valuable summer school experiences enriched my academic perspective and taught me how to identify, analyze, and think about problems in practice.”

Engaging in Cross-cultural Exchange
在由爱莎国际学苑组织的ChatGPT人工智能科技创新游学营的助力下，黎同学与小伙伴们远赴美国加州，走进斯坦福大学学习STEAM领域创业知识和创新思维；走进硅谷体验世界前沿AI工具和创新科技。
Supported by the ChatGPT AI Technology Innovation Study Tour Camp organized by ISA International Academy, Student Li and her peers traveled to California, USA, where they learned entrepreneurial knowledge and innovative thinking in the STEAM field at Stanford University and experienced cutting-edge AI tools and innovative technology in Silicon Valley.
我的夏校体验极为丰富。课程中，老师深入浅出地介绍了ChatGPT的相关信息、工作原理，人工智能的概念与应用，以及演示了对AI的学习模式代码模型。
My summer school experience was incredibly enriching. During the courses, the teacher introduced ChatGPT-related information and working principles, the concept and application of artificial intelligence, and demonstrated the code models for AI learning modes.
通过小组合作，我们设计并开发了一个基于机器人模型的人工智能项目——超市便利筛选系统。我们投入了大量时间和精力进行系统草图设计、优化和模型，力求带来便捷、高效的人机交互体验。最终，在展示环节，我们成功地向老师和同学们演示了系统的功能，并获得了积极的反馈。
Through group collaboration, we designed and developed an AI project based on a robotic model—the Supermarket Convenience Sorting System. We invested a lot of time and effort in system design, optimization, and modeling, striving to deliver a convenient and efficient human-machine interaction experience. In the end, during the presentation session, we successfully demonstrated the system’s functions to the teacher and classmates and received positive feedback.
我也因此收获了大量关于人工智能和STEAM领域的新知识，比如科技产品如何进入商业链接，对科技的商业应用有了更深入的理解。
This experience provided me with a wealth of new knowledge in AI and the STEAM field, particularly regarding how technological products enter the commercial market, deepening my understanding of the commercial applications of technology.
南加州大学的校园探索之旅也令我难忘。一踏入校园，我便被那些充满传统学术光辉的历史建筑所吸引。校园内，从商店到食堂，再到各专业学院，各种功能建筑应有尽有，感受到了学生们丰富多彩的日常生活。学校为学生提供了优越的硬件资源，助力他们的学术追求和个人发展；而学生们在学习和活动中的热情和活力，也为学校营造了一个充满活力和学术氛围的环境。
My exploration of the University of Southern California was also unforgettable. The moment I stepped onto the campus, I was captivated by the historic buildings that exude traditional academic brilliance. The campus offers a diverse range of functional buildings, from shops and cafeterias to various academic departments, reflecting the rich and diverse daily life of the students. The school provides excellent resources to support students in their academic pursuits and personal development, while the enthusiasm and vitality of the students in their studies and activities create a vibrant academic environment.”
