At ISA Community, the CCA programme is a vital component of the student experience, as it not only serves to complement and extend learning but also helps to develop student's talents. ISA International Academy and ISA Liwan collaborate in cultivating students' co-curricular learning in the fields of art, sports, humanities, science and technology, artificial intelligence, and other personalised fields, and make full use of the educational teaching resources and practice base of Lingnan culture, allowing students to stimulate their interest in learning through personal interactive experience and learning, and gain understanding and experience that cannot be obtained from videos or books.
CCAs in ISA Liwan takes place from Mondays to Thursdays from 16:00-16:40. Students need to choose at least two courses a week throughout the year. ISA Liwan offers over 60 valuable courses including Academic, Sports, Arts, Steam, Languages, Financial Literacy, Competition.
We will also integrate Liwan-related calligraphy, painting and other literary elements into the development of co-curriculum in the manner of immersion education, offering Cantonese opera, Cantonese language and Cantonese Lion Dance. It is also an endeavour to base our education on home culture in the national and global context.
Many of our co-curricular activities are run by our own staff and are included in our school fees, but some do incur charges if an external specialist coach is employed.
